Hello from CHA: Day 1 with Megan Hoeppner

What a thrill it’s been acting as a special guest correspondent for My Craft Channel at the Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) Supershow this weekend.

We kicked things off with a bang, with a visit to the Prima Marketing booth. If you’ve ever been to a CHA trade show, you know Prima has a massive booth, with many amazing things to see. I was immediately taken in by these cool looking spray ink bottles. Sure, the colors are stunning, but it’s the bottle design that really wowed me. As this photo illustrates, you can either get even, all-over coverage with a basic spray, or you can get a cool splattered look by only partially pulling the nozzle.

As mentioned, the sprays come in a variety of stunning colors.

And you really get two bottles for the price of one, as you can fill the bottle with water once it has run out and the color will come back at only a slightly less saturated hue. That’s how much pigment comes in these pretty packages!

Yes, life's a beach here in sunny California. I mean, just look at these beach balls on display in the Tulip booth. They've been all dressed up with puffy paint. What a cool decor idea!

These are just a few of the many amazing things we spotted today. I can’t wait to share more delights with you in the coming days. In the meantime, I’d love to know what it is you’re interested in seeing. I hope you'll leave me a comment here and allow me to be your CHA eyes and ears.

Thanks, friends. I’ll see you back here tomorrow night for a recap of day 2.

Cheers!
Megan Hoeppner, guest correspondent

P.S. With all there is to see and do here, I sure hope I "survive" the weekend. ;)

Photo opp thanks to our friends at the Tulip booth.
